1. Overview

TadkaZone provides restaurants with a digital menu, QR based dine-in ordering, and online payment features. This policy explains the types of information we collect from restaurant owners ("vendors"), customers who scan menus ("users"), and how that information is used and protected.

2. Information We Collect
  • Vendor account information: name, mobile number, email (if provided), restaurant name, city, and the credentials you create or supply via the Google Login API.
  • Shop & product data: shop images, product names, descriptions, prices, categories, and stock details that you upload to your vendor account.
  • User/order data: order items, order timestamps, order status, and payment confirmation. We may also log the device type and approximate location when a user scans a QR code (limited to city-level for analytics).
  • Usage data & cookies: analytics data used to improve the service and small cookies/session storage used to keep you logged in and improve experience.
3. How We Collect Data

We collect data when you:

  • Register or login using the Google Login API to create a vendor account.
  • Add a shop, upload images or products through the vendor dashboard.
  • Receive orders (we log order details to show sales reports).
  • When a customer scans a QR code and places an order or makes a payment.
4. How We Use Your Information
  • To operate and improve TadkaZone: manage vendor accounts, display product menus, process orders and payments, and provide customer support.
  • Analytics & reporting: provide vendors with day-wise sales reports, item-wise sales counts, and other insights to run their business better.
  • Communication: contact vendors about their account, updates, promotions, or important notices (calls/SMS/email depending on what you provide).
  • Fraud prevention and security: verify information and keep the platform safe.
5. Payments & Third Parties

We do not directly store full payment card details. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers (payment gateways). When a customer pays, we store the payment status and transaction reference so vendors can track orders. You should review the privacy and security terms of the payment gateway used during setup.

6. Sharing & Disclosure

We may disclose information:

  • To service providers (payment gateways, hosting, SMS/Email providers) who help operate the service.
  • When required by law or to protect rights and safety.
  • To analytics partners in aggregated, non-identifying form to improve the product.
7. Vendor Controls & Your Choices

As a vendor you can:

  • Update or delete your shop information, products, and images from the vendor dashboard.
  • Download reports showing day-wise sales and item-wise totals from the sales dashboard.
  • Request deletion of your account by contacting us (details below).
8. Data Retention

We retain vendor account and transaction data for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal and tax obligations. If you request account deletion, we will remove personal data from active systems and keep minimal transaction metadata as required by law.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect data. However, no internet service is completely secure — please use strong passwords and enable any account protections provided by Google login or TadkaZone.

10. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies and local storage to maintain sessions and for basic analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser but some features (like staying logged in) may stop working.

11. Children's Privacy

TadkaZone is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have such data, contact us to request deletion.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new effective date on this page. Major changes will be communicated to vendors via the email or phone number on file.

If you are a vendor who just signed up via our lead form: visit tadkazone.comVendor LoginAdd Your Shop → upload images & products → Download QR and place it on your table. Customers can scan, order & pay — and your dashboard will show day-wise sales under Sales Report.
